Brawl Records is proud to present AUGUST SOUNDS from UK and Ireland based musicians Laura Cannell and Kate Ellis with special guests Stewart Lee and Rhodri Davies.

Our Sounds of August offers up a Witches Harp (Telyn Wrachod), a personal ode to the ‘Virus Summer’ written and read by Stewart Lee and the layered sounds of a village pipe organ and cello played in the shadows.

JUNE SOUNDS from UK and Ireland based Laura Cannell and Kate Ellis is part 6 of a series of EP releases which are written, recorded and released every month throughout 2021 featuring Cannell’s signature evocative overbowed violin and vocals alongside Ellis’s deeply expressive cello playing.
